Rich, seaweedy and intensely peaty Islay single malt.
Heavy smoke and peat on the nose, shows amazing richness, with lemon, fresh ginger and notes of plum jam. Salty and spicy. Hits the palate with a punch - cocoa, peat and some honey sweetness then explodes with peppery spice and more earthy peat. Really fills the mouth with more peat and light sweetness. The finish shows heavy peat, then spice, mandarin oranges then the peat returns on the dry finish.
